Game Rules
All tournaments within the BITS Lifestyle International Tennis Tournament 2025/2026 will be held under the rules listed below.
Entry fee: €30 per person (€60 per pair).
Registration deadline: registrations must be submitted no later than two days before the start of each tournament (Thursday) by 23:59.
Draw announcement: the draw and match schedule will be published on the website one day before the start of the tournament (Friday) by 12:00.
System of play:
We play Tie-break sets.
best of two tie-break sets to 10 points. The winner of the match is the first team to win two encounters.
Preliminaries: after the first match, teams are divided into:
Tournament A winner and tournament B looser than
• Main Draw (MD): classic knockout system up to the final match, which determines the winner.
• Consolation: the team (pair) that loses the first match plays in the consolation knockout group. Matches are also played for third place. The winner of the consolation draw qualifies for the Masters.
Qualification for the Masters Tournament:
• All players who placed in the top four at any BITS tournament in the 2025/2026 season automatically qualify for the main draw.
• Pairs ranked among the TOP32 on the official BITS ranking in their category are included in the main draw.
• All tournament winners and TOP32 on the official BITS ranking automatically qualify for the Masters. The rest play additional Friday qualifications for 32 spots.
• Qualifications can be played by players who participated in at least one tournament in the current season.
• Minimum participation: 36 pairs.
Recreational players – if you have never been among ATP/WTA TOP 800, you are welcome!
In the case that a player who has ever been ranked on the ATP list (but not higher than TOP 800) participates in the tournament, his partner must never have competed in an official professional tournament – not even in youth categories.

Playing courts will be professionally prepared, with appropriate markings and properly installed nets.
In case of bad weather or unforeseen events (e.g., pandemic, natural disasters), organizers reserve the right to:
Force Majeure Clause: in case of cancellation due to natural disasters, pandemics, or force majeure, entry fees will not be refunded.
By registering, players agree to be photographed or filmed for media and promotional purposes.
Players may request in writing not to be tagged on social media.
Participation is at the players’ own risk. Organizers do not accept responsibility for injuries, lost equipment, or damage during the tournament.
Each match includes a 5-minute warm-up.
A delay of up to 15 minutes is allowed. Non-attendance may result in forfeiture of the match.
Partner substitutions are allowed only before the first match and must meet all participation conditions.
Changes after the start of the tournament are possible only with a medical certificate and organizer’s approval.
Participants acknowledge the physical risks and waive any claims against the organizers for injuries, accidents, or health complications during the event.
In case of cancellation of participation, the entry fee is non-refundable, except for medical reasons with documentation submitted at least 72 hours before the tournament.
